Liverpool are ready to press ahead with a new signing at left-back this summer despite Trent Alexander-Arnold’s exit, sources have told Football Insider.

Football Insider revealed on Monday (5 May) that Liverpool will also strengthen with a first-choice right-back signing despite Conor Bradley’s emergence.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth star Milos Kerkez is the top target for the Reds at left-back after his impressive performances on the south coast.

Football Insider revealed on 24 March that Kerkez has told friends he wants to leave the Cherries to join Liverpool this summer.

Ibrahima Konate’s will be next on the agenda for the Merseyside giants, with the defender having just over 12 months to run on his contract.
Football Insider revealed on 20 April that Liverpool have turned their attention to new contract talks with Konate after sealing agreements with Van Dijk and Mohamed Salah.

Bryan Mbeumo update from Liverpool
Meanwhile, Football Insider has revealed (6 May) that Liverpool have cooled their interest in Brentford star man Bryan Mbeumo.
With Salah committed for two more years it is believed Liverpool‘s interest in Mbeumo is waning.
The Reds had lined up a move for the £60million-rated Bees forward, who is attracting interest across the Premier League.
