Exclusive: Liverpool could sign Mohammed Kudus for £10m less than release clause
West Ham would be prepared to accept offers of £70million for Mohammed Kudus amid interest from Liverpool, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that the 24-year-old is seen as a “definite” improvement on many of the current forwards at Anfield.
His ability to play across the front line, coupled with his extensive Premier League experience, has placed him firmly on the radar at Anfield.
Kudus has an £80million release clause for domestic clubs in his contract, but sources say he could be allowed to leave for below that fee if an offer is made.
This comes after former Hammers scout Mick Brown told Football Insider West Ham could accept cut-price offers for Kudus this summer.

Liverpool eye move to sign £70million West Ham star
While a £70million deal is expected to be difficult for Liverpool to pull off, cashing in on the likes of Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota could help raise funds.
Brown told Football Insider on 15 April that Liverpool could sell Diaz, Nunez and Jota this summer if they receive acceptable bids as Slot is unhappy with his current options.
In their place, Slot is aiming to sign a world-class forward, with Kudus emerging among the top targets ahead of the summer window.
His pace, direct running and explosive style have grabbed the attention of a number of clubs including Liverpool, while his potential availability has them on alert.
However, sources say the Ghana international is not at the top of their list of targets and they will prioritise other options before making a move.

Ollie Watkins update emerges at Aston Villa
Alongside Kudus, Liverpool are eyeing a number of attacking talents to add to their squad as Slot aims to improve his front line this summer.
Football Insider exclusively revealed on 18 April that Liverpool want to sign Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins and are keeping a close eye on his situation at Villa Park.
The 29-year-old has dropped out of the starting XI in recent weeks in favour of the on-loan Marcus Rashford and is believed to be frustrated with the decision.
Later, on 21 April, Football Insider revealed Villa could be open to Watkins’ exit if they receive a bid of £50-60million in the summer window.
