Exclusive: Man City agree to terminate Tomas Galvez deal & loan to new club
Man City defender Tomas Galvez is set to end his loan at LASK early and join Dutch side SC Cambuur on loan for the second half of the season, sources have told Football Insider.
City are keen for the left-back to be playing more regularly and have agreed a deal to send him to the Dutch second division side.
Galvez, 19, joined Austrian outfit LASK on a season-long loan in the summer transfer window and has made seven appearances for the club.
Finland international Galvez is under contract at the Etihad Stadium until June 2028.
The defender is set for his second loan spell away from Man City after coming through the ranks with the English champions.
He was a staple in the all-conquering youth sides that won back-to-back Under-21 and Under-18 titles in the 2021-22 and 2022-23 campaigns.

The London-born teenager made 88 appearances for City’s youth sides after joining from Watford in 2021, notching three goals and ten assists.
Galvez made his senior debut for Finland in January 2023 and has gone on to earn five caps for his country, including starts against Sweden, San Marino, Greece and Ireland.

He is yet to make his competitive debut for City but turned out for Pep Guardiola’s side in their pre-season tour of the United States last year (2024).
Dutch side SC Cambuur sit sixth in the Eerste Divisie and will challenge for promotion back to the Eredivisie in the second half of the 2024-25 campaign.
