Exclusive: Man City sensation Tomas Galvez agrees to join LASK
Man City youngster Tomas Galvez has agreed a deal to join Austrian champions LASK, sources have told Football Insider.
The 19-year-old is set to leave the club on loan once he returns from Man City’s pre-season tour of the United States at the end of July.
Man City head back to the US on July 23rd in preparation for the 2024-25 season where they will face Celtic, AC Milan, New York City FC, Barcelona, and Chelsea before returning for the Community Shield against Man Utd on August 10th.
Galvez is highly regarded at Man City and has made a big impression on Pep Guardiola and his coaching staff since joining the club from Watford in 2021.
This would be his first loan since making the switch from Watford to Man City and is seen as a fantastic opportunity for him to gain first-team experience at the top level.
Man City want Tomas Galvez to get first-team exposure
The attacking left-back has spent most of his time in the youth teams since moving to Manchester winning two English Youth Leagues and two Premier League 2 trophies along the way.
He is yet to break into the first-team squad despite his impressive performances at youth level, this loan move to Austria, a country well-known for developing young players, may change that.

Galvez may not have broken into the first-team at club level just yet, but he is a fully-fledged Finland international having made his debut in January 2023.
It’s unlikely Galvez will be the only member of Man City’s prestigious youth set-up leaving the club, Football Insider recently revealed that Callum Doyle has been told he can leave permanently this summer.
In other news, Leeds United have been told to accept an offer for their star winger.
