Exclusive: Man United make Antony U-turn decision
Man United’s on-loan winger Antony will not be given another chance at the club, sources have told Football Insider.
The 25-year-old has been with La Liga side Real Betis since January and has regained form and confidence in Seville.
Antony continued his transformation with a stunning curler in Betis’ win over Espanyol on Sunday (4 May).
Man United have decided to move on from the Brazil international despite his impressive form in Spain, and will cash in on the winger this summer.
Man United will cash in on Antony
Antony cost £86million when he joined United from Ajax in 2022 – making him the club’s second-most expensive signing behind Paul Pogba.
His contract at Old Trafford runs until June 2027.
The winger has made 20 appearances across all competitions for Betis since joining, notching seven goals and four assists.

He could help the Andalusia-based side win the Uefa Conference League, with Betis on course to face Chelsea in the final.
Antony made 96 appearances across all competitions for United since joining three years ago, scoring 12 goals and racking up five assists.
He did not start in a single Premier League game this season before being shipped out on loan earlier this year.

Cunha sets stance on Man United move
Meanwhile, Football Insider has revealed (30 April) that Matheus Cunha has given Man United encouragement he will join even without Champions League qualification.
Sources say the Red Devils are winning the race for the 25-year-old and there is a willingness from all parties to agree a summer deal.
Arsenal, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and more Premier League sides have also been linked with the Brazil international but the forward looks set to make the move to Old Trafford.
