Exclusive: Marco Silva ‘interested’ in Fulham move as Tottenham race hots up
Fulham boss Marco Silva is “interested” in a potential Saudi Pro League switch this summer amid interest from Tottenham, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed Al-Hilal and other Saudi sides are ready to swoop for the 47-year-old, who has just over 12 months to run on his Fulham deal.
A potential move to the Middle East could appeal to the Portuguese manager, who has been at Craven Cottage since 2021.
Meanwhile, Tottenham also have Silva on their shortlist with Ange Postecoglou expected to leave the club if they don’t win the Europa League.
Al-Hilal and Tottenham are frontrunners to appoint Silva
But Al-Hilal are keen to bring a new boss in for the Club World Cup in June – meaning Spurs could be facing a race against time to land the Fulham manager.
The Cottagers are virtually eliminated from contention for European qualification this term after losing 3-1 at home against Everton on Saturday (10 May).

Nevertheless, Silva has overseen their promotion to the Premier League and subsequent consolidation in the top flight.
He has also taken charge of Everton, Hull City and Watford in England.
The ex-Olympiakos boss, 47, has refused to rule out a move to Saudi Arabia, telling reporters: “I don’t close doors to something like that, I’m not saying I won’t work outside of Europe, it can happen in the future.”

Tottenham value Man City target Porro at £50m
Meanwhile, Football Insider has revealed (27 April) that Tottenham will strike a hard bargain for Pedro Porro this summer as Man City attempt to re-sign the right-back.
Sources have told Football Insider that Spurs value the Spain international at £50million with City’s interest clear.
Porro joined Tottenham on loan in January 2023 before joining permanently later that year.
