Newcastle United and Wolves have made enquiries about signing Juventus defender Rogerio, Football Insider understands.

The on-loan Sassuolo player has impressed during spell at the club that began in 2017 and his performances have brought him to the attention of Newcastle and Wolves.

The 21-year-old has yet to make an appearance for Juventus, but he has made 34 appearances for Sassuolo during the last 18 months on loan.

Rogerio, who can play at left-back as well as left wing, is well down the pecking order at Juventus and the Italian champions are understood to be willing to sell him for a fee in the region of £12million.

Newcastle and Wolves are both looking to bolster their squads before the close of the transfer window and Rogerio fits the bill for both clubs as he can play anywhere down the left.
