Exclusive: Norwich and Stockport in race to sign K’Marni Miller from Wigan
Norwich City and Stockport County are eyeing moves for Wigan Athletic defender K’Marni Miller, sources have told Football Insider.
Miller, 19, started his career at Guiseley before linking up with Wigan Athletic last September and he has been earning rave reviews after breaking into the Latics first-team.
The exciting left-back made four first-team appearances in his debut season and his potential has alerted both Norwich and Stockport.
His outings included a substitute appearance against Northampton on the final day of the campaign, his first appearance for Wigan following the appointment of Ryan Lowe as manager in March this year.

Norwich City in the midst of a busy summer
Following a 13th place finish in the Championship this season, Norwich took the decision to sack manager Johannes Hoff Thorup at the end of the campaign.
However, the Canaries did not wait long before bringing in a replacement to take charge of first-team affairs at Carrow Road.
Norwich raided Championship rivals Bristol City to appoint Liam Manning as their new manager, after he had guided the Robins to the second-tier play-offs during the 2024/25 campaign.
They have also already made Jacob Wright’s loan move from Man City permanent, while completing the signing of goalkeeper Dan Grimshaw from Plymouth Argyle.
As a result, Miller would not be the first new addition to the squad at Carrow Road during the transfer window.

Stockport County looking to bounce back from play-off heartbreak
Following a highly controversial semi final tie between Stockport and Leyton Orient, Dave Challinor’s side were beaten on penalties by the O’s in the play-offs to deny them promotion to the Championship.
They are therefore set to come up against Miller’s current side Wigan in the third-tier during the 2025/26 campaign, after the Latics finished 15th in the table this season.
Stockport themselves are yet to make a signing since the transfer window opened, and will be looking to strengthen at left-back following the departure of Ibou Touray at the end of his contract.
With Miller having only joined Wigan last year, either Norwich or Stockport will have to pay a fee if they want to sign him this summer, given the left-back is still under contract with the Latics.
