Exclusive: Portsmouth star Will Norris undergoing Wycombe medical as deal agreed
Portsmouth goalkeeper Will Norris is undergoing a medical at Wycombe Wanderers on Monday (3 February) ahead of a last-gasp move, sources have told Football Insider.
The 31-year-old is putting the finishing touches on a permanent Adams Park switch ahead of the transfer deadline at 11pm.
Norris started the 2024-25 campaign between the sticks for Portsmouth but has been replaced by Austrian Nicolas Schmid.
The Watford-born star joined Pompey in 2023 and played every league minute as they were promoted to the Championship last term.
However, Norris has made just nine appearances across all competitions for the south coast club this season – conceding 20 goals and keeping just two clean sheets.
He no longer makes the matchday squad for John Mousinho’s side and has been allowed to leave for promotion-chasing Wycombe.
Norris closes in on permanent Wycombe move
Norris is a proven player in League One having made 83 appearances in the third tier – more than half of which came as Pompey won the league in the 2023-24 campaign.
Argentine shot-stopper Franco Ravizzoli is the current first-choice for Wycombe, after replacing Nathan Bishop early this season.

The Chairboys sit second in League One, while Portsmouth are 20th in the Championship.
Football Insider revealed last week (29 January) that Wycombe have rejected Luton’s latest bid – worth up to £6million – for top scorer Richard Kone as they look to continue their promotion push.
