Exclusive: Potential £35m Celtic sale has pundit convinced - 'They'd Bite Your Hand Off'
Celtic would “bite your hand off” if West Ham offered £35million to sign Odsonne Edouard this month.
That is according to former Rangers and Tottenham star Alan Hutton who, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, admitted the “fantastic” striker had suffered a dip in form which could affect his price tag in the transfer window.
The Daily Star report West Ham have set sights on the 23-year-old as a replacement for Sebastien Haller, with David Moyes having watched the Frenchman regularly, and are willing to splash out £35million for his capture.
The Celtic ace has struggled to hit the outstanding heights of previous seasons this term, with just 11 goals from 23 appearances across all competitions under his belt.
With 18 months left on the hitman’s contract, Hutton believes Celtic would be willing to accept a £35million bid from West Ham – or any other suitors – if made before the transfer deadline.
Hutton told Football Insider: “Oh they’d bite your hand off for £35million, I think he’s a fantastic player, as many times I’ve told you before.

“I think he’s excellent – his link-up play, he can score goals, he is just a class act.
“Yes, he’s had a drop in form but I think the whole team has so if it’s true and they’re getting offered £35million, I think they’d be more than happy to take that.”
Edouard has netted a total of 72 goals in 151 appearances for Celtic to date, including seven in 19 Europa League games.
West Ham currently only have Michail Antonio as a recognised senior striker after selling Haller to Ajax earlier this month.
