Exclusive: Rangers makes Hamza Igamane and Nico Raskin transfer decisions

Rangers boss Russell Martin is keen to build his side around in-demand duo Hamza Igamane and Nicolas Raskin, sources have told Football Insider.

Martin was appointed at Ibrox earlier this month and faces a baptism of fire with Champions League qualifying kicking off next month.

Football Insider revealed on Monday (16 June) that West Ham and Everton are weighing up swoops for Igamane after his impressive start to life in Glasgow.

The Moroccan striker is raw but has shown glimpses of quality against good opposition in the Europa League.

Meanwhile, Raskin is attracting interest from European giants Porto, Marseille and Fiorentina after impressing at Ibrox.

Sources say Rangers are still susceptible to big offers for the duo despite their recent US-backed takeover but do not need to sell for below-market prices.

Igamane hit 16 goals and notched three assists in 46 appearances across all competitions for Rangers in the 2024-25 campaign.

That return came despite him spending a significant chunk of the season behind Cyriel Dessers in the pecking order at Ibrox.

Raskin hit five goals and notched 11 assists for Rangers and captained the Scottish giants on multiple occasions last term.

Igamane is under contract until 2029 after joining last summer (2024), while Raskin’s deal is set to run for two more years.

Coady, 32, has entered the final year of his contract at the King Power Stadium and Leicester view him as a sellable asset.

Football Insider exclusively revealed on 9 June that Rangers have enquired about Coady’s availability as they plan to bolster their defensive ranks.
