Exclusive: Salford City reject two Haji Mnoga bids from League One club
Salford City have rejected two bids from a League One club for defender Haji Mnoga, sources have told Football Insider.
The right-back is entering the final year of his contract at Salford and is wanted in a summer deal.
The identity of the bidding club cannot be named at this stage to protect relationships.
Mnoga started 33 League Two games for Karl Robinson’s side last season, after he completed a switch from his boyhood side Portsmouth, in August 2024.
Salford stand firm after Mnoga offers soon after clause triggered
Back in May, Salford confirmed that they had triggered a one-year extension clause in Mnoga’s contract, keeping him at the club until June 2026.
However, an unnamed third-tier side are now trying to wrestle the Tanzania international away from the Ammies.
The 23-year-old is coming off the back of his first season playing regular EFL football, following loan spells at the likes of Aldershot and Weymouth during his time at Portsmouth.
Mnoga helped Salford to an eighth-place finish in League Two, as they agonisingly missed out on the play-offs by a single point on the final day.

Luton Town’s Thomas Kaminski agrees Charlton Athletic deal
Meanwhile, Football Insider exclusively revealed that Charlton Athletic have agreed a deal to sign Luton Town goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski.
Kaminski, 32, has spent the last two seasons at Kenilworth Road, suffering back-to-back relegations from the Premier League down to League One.
The Belgian will move to the Championship side for an undisclosed fee, and personal terms between the club and the player have been agreed.
An announcement is expected imminently, which will see Matt Bloomfield lose his number one shot-stopper.
