Exclusive: Sean Dyche ‘interested’ in being Crystal Palace manager, pecking order revealed
Sean Dyche is “interested” in taking on the manager’s job at Crystal Palace at the end of the season, sources have told Football Insider.
The former Everton and Burnley boss is understood to be one of several bosses on the Eagles’ list of candidates to replace Oliver Glasner next term, and the 54-year-old would be keen to explore the chance to take the reins at Selhurst Park.
Dyche has been out of work since he was sacked by Nottingham Forest at the start of February, but sources have indicated that Crystal Palace have not placed him near the top of the pecking order when it comes to their list of targets.
The South London outfit have plenty of options open to them for their next appointment, with Glasner now set to see out the remainder of his deal until the summer.

Who is leading the race for the Crystal Palace job?
Football Insider recently revealed that Thomas Frank is a leading candidate to step into the dugout at Selhurst next season, just months after he was axed by Tottenham.
The Palace hierarchy are understood to be hopeful that the Dane has a point to prove after the lack of impact that he made in North London, and they view him as an attractive candidate due to his Premier League experience.
The 52-year-old’s reputation remains intact despite his disastrous stint at Spurs, and the hope would be that he could replicate the success that he previously enjoyed at Brentford if he were to get the job.
Former Premier League striker Robbie Keane is also being heavily linked with the Palace job at the moment, after his Ferencvaros side have surprised many with their impressive form in the Europa League this term.

The Irishman has emerged as one of the bookmakers’ favourites to return to English football and take the reins in South London, but it remains to be seen whether he is high on the board’s list of targets.
Crystal Palace supporters could face bans for Nottingham Forest incident
Former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett has exclusively told Football Insider that Palace should launch a search to try and identify fans who should be banned after they were punished for a banner that was shown in the stands back in August, which took aim at Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis.
The Eagles have received a fine of £50,000 for the incident by the Regulatory Commission, but Hackett feels that they have escaped with a relatively minor punishment.
He has also suggested that the club hierarchy should make an attempt to issue bans to those who were responsible for the banner, in order to try and deter any potential future incidents.
Palace fans have developed a new hatred for Forest and Marinakis after the saga surrounding their respective European places last summer, and it may not be the end of this incident just yet.
