Exclusive: Sean Dyche’s stance on accepting Leicester manager offer revealed
Sean Dyche sees the potential Leicester City manager vacancy as an attractive proposition, sources have told Football Insider.
The Foxes are looking at Dyche, 53, closely as they plot a manager change in the off-season ahead of their return to the Championship.
He left Everton in January but lives in the Midlands – close to Leicester’s state-of-the-art training base and the King Power Stadium.
Dyche would have to drop down to the second tier after his time with the Toffees but is nevertheless believed to be attracted to the role.
Dyche attracted to Leicester vacancy
Ruud van Nistelrooy, who is under contract until June 2027, remains in charge at present at Leicester.
However, Football Insider revealed in April that Van Nistelrooy is expected to be sacked at Leicester following his disastrous short reign which saw relegation confirmed with five games to spare.

Dyche has a track record of achieving promotion, having won the Championship with Burnley in the 2015-16 campaign and finishing runner-up with the Clarets in the 2013-14 campaign.
He has won 79 of 171 games in the second-tier after his time at Turf Moor and with Watford.
Any future Leicester boss will have to achieve promotion without the help of Foxes legend Jamie Vardy, who has confirmed he will leave the club at the end of his contract next month.

Wolves in pole position to sign Vardy
Meanwhile, Football Insider has revealed (9 May) that Wolves are in pole position to sign Vardy on a free transfer ahead of his exit from Leicester.
Vardy, 38, has hit nine goals and notched four assists in 35 appearances across all competitions this term.
The veteran won the Premier League and FA Cup during his 13-year spell at the King Power Stadium.
