Exclusive: Thomas Frank to Tottenham update as new fears emerge
Thomas Frank is interested in the Tottenham job after initial talks were held in recent days, sources have told Football Insider.
The Brentford boss has emerged as a top target for Spurs, who are set to sack current manager Ange Postecoglou despite winning the Europa League.
Frank has been with Brentford for seven years but it is believed the chance to make the jump to a traditional ‘big-six’ club and manage in the Champions League will be appealing.
Sources say he fears the Bees will be forced to sell their best players yet again this summer – an uncomfortable truth the Dane has confronted throughout his time at the club.
Tottenham job appeals to Thomas Frank
Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa are among the stars attracting the most attention, while Mark Flekken is closing in on a move to Bayer Leverkusen.
Frank has been an impressive operator in the Premier League so it is no surprise to see him attracting interest from Tottenham.

Spurs are a bigger club with a larger budget than Brentford and their available transfer funds swelled even further after winning the Europa League in the 2024-25 campaign.
Frank, who has won 54 of his 152 games in charge in the Premier League, is under contract until June 2027.
Meanwhile, Football Insider has revealed (29 May) that Postecoglou could be set to receive a £7million payout if he is sacked as Tottenham manager.

Sane ready to make London move
Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed last week (28 May) that Leroy Sane is keen on a return to the Premier League and a move to London amid links with Tottenham.
The Bayern Munich winger is out of contract this month and is likely to leave the Bundesliga champions.
While a number of overseas clubs are also expected to signal their interest in Sane, the most lucrative financial packages in European football will come from the Premier League.
