Exclusive: Tyler Roberts agrees to join new club as Wolves deal terminated

Wolves winger Tyler Roberts is set to leave the club to join AFC Fylde on a permanent basis, sources have told Football Insider.

Roberts, 21, has spent the first half of the 2024-25 season on loan at National League side Fylde and he has now agreed to join the club on a permanent basis.

The Jamaica international has cancelled his contract at Wolves six months early to allow him to make the move to Fylde.

Roberts came through the ranks at Wolves, but never made a first-team appearance during his time at Molineux.

He has made 14 appearances for Fylde in the National League this term, notching two goals and one assist.

The winger has been part of the starting lineup in 10 of those outings.

Roberts also went out on loan with Doncaster last season and made 15 appearances across all competitions for the League Two side in the first half of the campaign.

The winger joined Wolves as a nine-year-old and signed his first professional contract in 2021.
