Expert: Celtic told to complete Albian Ajeti transfer amid ‘OMG’ claim
Celtic must offload Albian Ajeti this summer even if he only leaves on loan.
That’s according to former Hoops hitman Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the striker’s future.
Ajeti, 25, only played 22 minutes of Scottish Premiership action after 21 February before the end of the 2021-22 season.

He also struggled to work his way into the side despite long-term injuries to Kyogo Furuhashi and Georgios Giakouamkis.
The Hoops also signed Daizen Maeda as further striker back up in January with Ajeti barely playing in the second half of the season as a result.
McAvennie wants Ajeti to leave the club this summer, even if that is only on loan.
“He’s got to get rid of the boys who are there,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Ajeti is sat there doing nothing. Put him out on loan if no one wants him, at least you might get something back then.
“Say to the club they can poy £10,000 of his wages or whatever. He’s not going to get in the manager’s team.
“For me, he’s not mobile enough. He’s had plenty of chances, oh my god yeah, he’s had loads of chances.
“If they are going to bring another striker in then they have to get rid of one. Get him out on loan and get some of the wages paid.”

Ajeti scored six goals in 30 total outings during the 2021-22 season.
He has made 48 total appearances for the club.
