Expert claims Tottenham have 'big problem' pre-Leicester

Tottenham will beat Leicester City this weekend to keep their hopes of playing in the Champions League next season alive.

That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.

Tottenham face Leicester on Sunday (1 May) as they look to return to winning ways after last weekend’s loss to Brentford (23 April)

Spurs are also looking to claw back ground in their hunt for the top-four as they currently sit in fifth, two point’s behind fourth-placed Arsenal.

Wenham is certain his side will pick up a win against a Leicester side that could be “heavily rotated”.

“There aren’t too many changes Conte could make even if he wanted to, that’s the big problem,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“He always keeps the same formation and I think we will probably keep the same team for the Leicester game.

“The team talk for Conte should just be ‘do you want to play Champions League football next year?‘.

“It is a must-win game. If we don’t anything then that is our hopes of finishing in the top-four completely over.

“Leicester will heavily rotate for this fixture. Their league season is done and they have just played a European semi-final.

“I expect us to beat Leicester 3-0 and we will come out of this malaise and get the job done.”

The Foxes drew 1-1 with Jose Mourinho’s Roma on Thursday night (28 April).

This was the first leg of their Europa Conference League semi-final.
