Expert fumes at Levy and Paratici over ‘bizarre’ Tottenham transfer development
It is “beyond bizarre” that Tottenham have made “no progress” in the transfer market this month.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Tottenham are yet to complete any transfer business this summer with no arrivals or departures across all age groups

Wenham was left fuming after football.london reported a transfer meeting between Daniel Levy and Antonio Conte only took place on 11 January.
“We are now comfortably more than halfway through the window with zero ins and zero outs,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“It also doesn’t seem like anything is close on either front. Suddenly the Adama news is that we are only offering a loan deal.
“He then scores at the weekend and the manager said he’s not going anywhere.
“You have to question what Fabio Paratici has been doing since the last window shut.
“I appreciate there was a change in manager but it’s not that common for targets to change from manager to manager. Levy and other transfer specialists usually handle that.
“I find it beyond bizarre that we are more than halfway through the window and there has been absolutely no progress made.
“Everton have made three signings, Villa have made two and one of them scored at the weekend.
“Newcastle have made two signings. So the argument that we haven’t had time doesn’t wash.
“Why did this reported meeting over transfers only take place on 11 January?

“Once again it looks like we are trying to save money but looking at what deals will be available on deadline day.
“That can cost you a place in the Champions League.”
In other news, a pundit has claimed Tottenham could seal ‘signing of the summer’ after Sky transfer update.
