Expert hails Tottenham ‘masterstroke’ after Harry Winks latest
Tottenham have pulled off a masterstroke by loaning out Harry Winks despite knowing he was injured.
That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Winks, 26, joined Italian side Sampdoria on loan in the final days of the 2022 summer transfer window.

However, because of injury, he is yet to make an appearance for the club who sit rock bottom of Serie A and are winless from 10 games.
Wenham has no sympathy for the Italian side.
“Winks is still yet to feature for Sampdoria at all,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He seems to have constant injuries. If Tottenham knew about this injury then it was a masterstroke to get someone else to pay his wages while he is not playing.
“He has only had one or two training sessions before breaking down again. I have no sympathy for them either because they have their own medical team and Wink would have passed a medical.
“So they chose to take him on, we didn’t force that. It is just working out better for us rather than them at this point.”

Winks has only ever played for Spurs, joining the club’s academy in 2002 and making his senior debut in November 2014.
He has gone on to make 203 appearances for the club in all competitions.
In other news, Tottenham are expected to change their system v Man United after injury latest, according to one expert.
