Expert: Harvey White to leave Tottenham on 1 January after never-before-seen development
Harvey White could leave Tottenham on loan as soon as the transfer window opens after impressing during the club’s recent friendlies.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
White, 21, last featured regularly at senior level during the 2020-21 season, spending the latter half of that campaign on loan at Portsmouth.

However, he has spent the last 18 months at Hotspur Way playing for the club’s various youth sides.
He was called up to the first team for recent friendlies against Motherwell, Peterborough and Nice, playing in a more advanced role than usual.
Wenham was impressed with what he saw and backed the youngster to seal an early-window exit from the club.
“So White started in all three of the friendlies we played last week and, interestingly, played in a position I’ve never seen before,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“There was also a behind-closed-doors game against Peterborough in which he scored. For me, he still needs that loan on the first of January.
“Him playing in the first team has just reminded people of his ability. He has gone in there with senior pros and looked more than comfortable in the games he has played.
“He now needs to be playing men’s football week in week out, he has been frustrated for the last 18 months by not doing that.

“You wonder where he would be, development-wise, if he had been playing men’s football over that time.
“The good thing for him is that Conte has definitely seen what he has done and now he can go out on loan and impress again.”
