Expert issues ‘absolute disaster’ Man United claim
Man United will finish sixth this season in what will be a huge underachievement for the club.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Man United, Tottenham and Arsenal are fighting for fourth place with Spurs currently holding the position on goal difference.
Man United are in sixth and sit three points off their North London rivals after Tuesday’s (19 April) 4-0 loss to Liverpool.
Wenham is certain the Red Devils will be finishing sixth this season and slammed the club’s decline.
“I’m not worried about Man United beating us to the top four,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“A lot of stuff gets thrown at Tottenham for underachieving but what about them?
“They should already be 10 or 12 points clear of Tottenham. They have beaten us twice this season.
“Huge sums of money have been spent on the likes of Ronaldo, Varane and Sancho.
“What an absolute disaster it has been for Man United that they are probably going to finish sixth this season.
“I expected them to get beat on Tuesday and maybe they will get a point against Arsenal, which would help Tottenham out. It’s a huge weekend.
“It’s insane what has happened there this season.”

Man United face Arsenal on Saturday (23 April) with the Red Devils’ having already won the reverse fixture 3-2 back in December.
Tottenham face Brentford later in the day as they look to pull clear in the race for the top four.
