Expert issues ‘extraordinary’ Erling Haaland claim as ‘massive’ Man City prediction made
Man City will easily overcome Arsenal to win the Premier League as long as Erling Haaland stays fit.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the prolific Norwegian.
Star striker Haaland, 22, who scored again as City beat Liverpool 3-2 on Thursday (22 December), has now bagged 24 goals in 19 total appearances for the club.

18 of those have come in just 13 Premier League appearances with Pep Guardiola’s side looking to hunt down Arsenal, who went into the World Cup break top of the table and clear of second-placed City by five points.
McManus is in no doubt over who he thinks will win the title.
“He’s [Haaland] just extraordinary, there is no other word for it,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“I’ve seen some people saying stuff about whether will he come back in the same form he started the season. Of course, he will.
“Look at his record for Dortmund, if he plays, he scores. That’s why they will win the title. We have seen Arsenal struggle for goals at times and maybe a defender has bailed them out after scoring from a corner.
“Gabriel Jesus is now out injured as well so they are really going to be lacking goals. As long as Haaland is there for City, he could get another 20 or more goals just in the league, a massive amount in all competitions.
“Even if Pep decides to rest him in the league and play him in the Champions League, you have Alvarez who is in the form of his life.
“There is no doubt in my mind that City will go and win the title.”

World Cup winner Julian Alvarez has made 20 appearances for City in all competitions this season.
He has scored seven goals.
In other news, a pundit expects Erling Haaland to stay at Man City for ‘seven years’ as ‘offer’ suggested.
