Expert: This may be real reason Rashford axed from Man United XI
Marcus Rashford is not suited to the new system Ralf Rangnick has adopted at Man United, according to Kevin Campbell.
The former Premier League striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, said the 24-year-old is one of a number of players “searching for form” at Old Trafford.
Rashford has dropped to the bench for United’s last two Premier League fixtures.

In Monday’s 1-0 loss at home to Wolves, the England star failed to make an impact from the bench and only completed 33.3 per cent of his passes. [WhoScored]
Speaking on his YouTube channel (3 January), Rio Ferdinand questioned Rashford’s body language and suggested that the “fire” and “hunger” from the forward’s game had disappeared.
When asked by Football Insider for his assessment of Rashford’s form, Campbell said: “Rashford is one of a few Manchester United players searching for form right now.
“The new system does not suit him as much as previous systems. It is something that everyone has got to get used to though.
“United have not been themselves for a while now. They have not performed well as a team for a while.

“When that happens a bit of flak tends to fly around. There is always flak when you are on a bad run, especially at a club like Manchester United.
“Rashford is going to be alright. He is a talented player. United need a couple of wins under their belt to calm everybody down. They need to get back to winning ways.”
