Expert: Tottenham have edge in race to sign Paulo Dybala -thanks to Fabio Paratici
Fabio Paratici could give Tottenham the edge in their hunt for Paulo Dybala.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
On 30 April, this site revealed Newcastle United have submitted a blockbuster offer for Dybala, 28.
Football Insider has been told there is “huge” interest from the Premier League elite in the Juventus star.
Dybala is set to become a free agent this summer after failing to agree a new deal with the Italian giants.
Wenham claims Paratici’s links to Juventus could give Spurs the edge in their bid.

“This is a hard one because we have allegedly pushed hard for him before,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“We pushed and apparently it fell through due to third party ownership rights or something like that.
“If we were pushing hard back then and offering £50million or whatever it was, now he’s available on a free then maybe there is something going on.
“Don’t get me wrong, it won’t be a free transfer. Whack on the agent fee for starters, then a signing-on fee, then £200,000-per-week wages.
“People describe this move as a freebie, a no brainer. But in reality, it is a huge outlay.
“He is a top tier Champions League quality player and I would definitely take him considering our problems with creating chances.
“I just don’t think we will be at the front of the queue for him. Barcelona will be interested, Bayern Munich as well.
“Having Paratici gives us a possible edge thanks to his Juventus links but we will have to see what happens in the last weeks of the season.”
