Expert: Tottenham have tried to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia – ‘he causes havoc’
Tottenham should have pulled out all of the stops to sign Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia this summer.
That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Kvaratskhelia, 21, has been in sensational form since joining Napoli in the summer, scoring seven goals and registering seven assists in 13 games.

His most recent strike came against Ajax in his new side’s 4-2 win in the Champions League on Wednesday (12 Wednesday).
Tottenham had been heavily linked to the 21-year-old in recent summers and Wenham is disappointed the club couldn’t follow through on the transfer.
“This Georgian winger who we were linked with again and again, I didn’t bother posting the stories because it was too much effort to spell out his name,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He looks absolutely ridiculous every time I see him. He’s a complete menace on that left wing, he just bombs forward the whole time.
“He causes havoc and they got him for next to nothing. We didn’t get him which is so frustrating, we were linked with him so heavily.
“I can probably dig up the reports because he was scouted multiple times. It’s so frustrating because he is worth 10 times the amount already.”

Kvaratskhelia is an experienced Georgia international, making 19 appearances and scoring 10 goals for his country.
Tottenham instead signed Richarlison from Everton in the summer of 2022.
