Defender Fabio Cardoso has insisted that only three points matter for Rangers when they face Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday night.
The Gers have lost both of their last two games to leave them six points behind the Dons in the league table with the sides meeting again on Sunday at Pittodrie.
Cardoso has been out of action since having his nose shattered by Motherwell’s Ryan Bowman in October’s Scottish League Cup semi-final and could come back into contention to face Derek McInnes’ side.
The Portuguese defender believes that the Gers need to show their “value” as they look to get their season back on track in after a disappointing run of results
“Time to show our value! Let’s do it lads, big game today and only the 3 points matter,” Cardoso said on his personal Twitter account on Wednesday afternoon.

Aberdeen won the last meeting between the sides at Ibrox – their first win in Govan sice 1991 – and will be desperate to repeat the feat and open up a nine-point gap before the Gers head to the Granite City at the weekend.
Interim Rangers boss Graeme Murty is expected to be in charge for both clashes with the Pittodrie side as the Rangers board continue to look for a long-term replacement for Pedro Caixinha after his sacking in October.
In the latest Rangers news, Murty has had his say on Wednesday’s game against the Dons.
