Facundo Buonanotte ‘won’t play for Leeds again’ after what he did vs Birmingham
Leeds United fans have slammed Facundo Buonanotte after the midfielder was taken off at half-time in their FA Cup clash at Birmingham City.
Lukas Nmecha’s second half goal was cancelled out by a Patrick Roberts strike as the FA Cup tie went to extra-time at St Andrew’s.
The Championship club had the better of the first half, and Leeds were indebted to goalkeeper Lucas Perri for keeping Birmingham out, before the visitors thought a solitary Nmecha goal had won it for them in the 90 minutes.
After beating Derby County in the third round, Leeds were facing their second Championship opponent in the competition this season.

Facundo Buonanotte ‘very poor’ against Birmingham
Farke decided to make just the one change at half-time, with Buonanotte replaced by Ethan Ampadu in the Leeds midfield.
Buonanotte had zero shots, successfully completed zero dribbles, won just one of his eight ground duels, and accurately completed 79% of his passes.
The 21-year-old’s little impact on the game made him an obvious choice to be replaced at the break, with the Argentine making his first start for Leeds since joining on loan from Brighton in the January transfer window.
Buonanotte had spent the first half of the season on loan at Chelsea, but playing time was extremely limited at Stamford Bridge.
Whilst Leeds fans recognise Buonanotte’s lack of game time this season, they were still left unimpressed by his performance and left wondering whether he would feature for the club again.

Leeds could raid Rangers for star duo
Whilst Leeds still have work to do in the Premier League to ensure their top flight status next season, Farke is already looking at strengthening his squad.
Leeds could look to sign Mikey Moore and Nico Raskin from Rangers, with both of their futures in doubt at Ibrox.

Moore is set to return to his parent club Tottenham when his loan spell at Rangers expires at the end of the season.
Raskin’s contract in Glasgow expires in 2028, and the Belgian midfielder has been widely tipped with a move to the Premier League.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to Spurs, and he could depart if Rangers do not win the Scottish Premiership title this season.
