Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic has helped Australia secure a place at the World Cup in Russia next summer – and Hoops fans were delighted to see the midfielder help his country qualify.
The Australians rounded off an epic 22-game qualifying campaign with a 3-1 win over Honduras to book their place as the final Asian qualifier at next summer’s showpiece.
Fans of the Hoops and the Socceroos were delighted to see Rogic help seal qualification after the midfielder missed out on a place in Australia’s squad four years ago through injury.

The Celtic midfielder has made 22 appearances across all competitions so far for the Scottish champions this season and has scored four times and created six more.
After moving to Scotland in 2013, Rogic has won two Scottish titles, two Scottish Cups and a Scottish League Cup.
The Aussie midfielder will likely be an important player for Brendan Rodgers’ side over the coming weeks as they face a hectic run of massive games.
The Parkhead side face Anderlecht and Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League over the next few weeks and have a Scottish League Cup final clash with Motherwell sandwiched in between.
Celtic are currently top of the Scottish Premiership.
In other Celtic news, the Hoops are in a transfer tussle with a Bundesliga club for this goal-a-game forward.
