'Dangerous' - Fans react to Celtic player performance during international win
By James Black
Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic was in action earlier on Tuesday for Australia in their extra-time win over Syria in World Cup qualifying and Hoops fans will be delighted to see the Aussie get back to form.
Rogic played 96 minutes in the 2-1 win as Australia booked their place in the final qualifying round and fans were impressed with the Hoops man’s performance.
An extra-time header from 37-year-old Tim Cahill was enough for the Socceroos to secure a win and puts Rogic and his team-mates within touching distance of a place at next summer’s World Cup.
The midfielder has split Celtic fans’ opinion in recent weeks with a series of disappointing performances for the Hoops but fans of the Socceroos were, mostly, impressed with his showing.

Surely Milligan, Mooy & Rogic are secured as starters for the @Socceroos midfield now

Rogic is a star, I feel as if he’ll score every time he gets the ball just outside the box

The problm is they are an A-League team with an A-League manager. Only so much Cahill/Rogic can do. More input needed from broader circles!

Mooy and rogic will be key

Rogic is better than Mooy IMV. More dangerous

Average? Which games are you watching? I tell you whats average. The Roos without Rogic. He should never be judged just on goals.

He was our best player by far. Maybe Rogic as well

Next up for Rogic and Australia is an anxious wait to see which one from Panama, Honduras or the United States they will face in their final qualification round.
Before that, Celtic return to domestic action this weekend when Dundee visit Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership.
Celtic also face Bayern Munich in the Champions League and a League Cup semi-final with Hibs later this month.
Rogic has won 32 caps for the Australian national team so far but is yet to feature for them in a major tournament.
