Fans react on Twitter to Piers Morgan wearing a Tottenham shirt

Piers Morgan has revealed that he has worn a Tottenham shirt for charity – and fans on Twitter have blasted the Arsenal supporter.
Broadcaster Morgan dropped the bombshell on his personal Twitter account on Thursday evening.
He stated that wearing the Spurs shirt made him “puke” but on a serious note he did reveal that £50,000 will go to Comic Relief as a result of him wearing the shirt.
Arsenal fan and high profile businessman Lord Sugar will tweet the picture of Morgan in the Spurs shirt on Friday.

Fans on social media were confused as to why Morgan didn’t just give the money to charity rather than wear a shirt of his club’s bitter rivals.
The outspoken presenter is regularly vocal on Twitter, especially when Spurs finish below their north London neighbours, just like they have done throughout Arsene Wenger’s reign.
However, he is also critical of his own club and the current failings, both on and off the pitch, which has seen Wenger come under increasing pressure from the supporters.
Morgan has stated on regular occasions that the Frenchman should step down from his managerial post after over 20 years in charge.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:
couldn't you of just given the 50k and not of worn the shirt… ????

At this moment in time, Mauricio Pochettino’s side are nine points ahead of sixth-placed Arsenal who have a game in hand on their rivals with ten games of the season remaining.
