'Absolutely awful', 'Imposter' – Celtic fans blame one player for draw v Hibernian

Celtic fans took to Twitter to blast Scott Sinclair following his shocking finishing against Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership.

Their messages were slightly different during the second half as he turned hero, scoring two goals to give celtic a seemingly unassailable 2-0 lead.

However, two goals from Hibernian in the space of three minutes late on gave the home side an unexpected point.

And Celtic fans turned on Sinclair again after he missed too many chances to win the game for Brendan Rodgers.

Most of the disappointment for Sinclair in the first half stemmed from fans’ high expectations – he was almost un-playable at times last season, as he earned the Scottish Premiership ‘Player of the season’ award.

However, he has struggled to reach the same heights since and fans are not happy.

Here are some of the best Twitter reactions from angry Celtic fans:

Sinclair almost saved his afternoon as he found the net to open the scoring in the 60th minute, tapping home into an empty net.

The former Chelsea player doubled down just four minutes later to send Hoops’ fans into meltdown, after a swfit counter attack saw Sinclairs deflected shot hit the back of the net.

However, he turned villain again at the end, after Celtic were held to a 2-2 draw.
