'Fantastic' signing - Exclusive: Pundit on blockbuster potential Celtic deal
Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson would be very tempted to join Celtic on loan, according to Paul Robinson.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs, the former Tottenham and England goalkeeper admitted it was unlikely United would let their second choice shot-stopper leave in the winter window.
90min report the Hoops are an option for Henderson who is hoping to secure more game time before next year’s European Championships.
The England international has been limited to three appearances in the EFL Cup and Champions League this season.
Celtic have conceded 17 goals in their last eight games across all competitions and Neil Lennon dropped summer signing Vasilis Barkas at the end of October.
Long-standing deputy Scott Bain has only kept one clean sheet in six games since being introduced to the side.

Asked by Football Insider whether a transfer to Parkhead would be a good career move for Henderson, Robinson said: “Celtic would be a fantastic option for Henderson.
“It would always appeal to a player and it is somewhere where I would have loved to have played.
“We saw Fraser Forster play up there last season and he was outstanding, got in the first team and enjoyed some great times.
“If Dean Henderson was able to get out of Manchester United, Celtic would be a great move but I cannot see United letting him go.”
United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told Sky Sports that Henderson wants to stay at Old Trafford and fight for his place in the starting XI.
The 23-year-old spent last season on loan with Sheffield United and kept 13 clean sheets in 36 Premier League games and helped the Blades to a ninth-place finish.
