‘Farke Out’, ‘Unacceptable’ – Leeds United fans demand Daniel Farke is sacked after latest

Leeds United fans on social media want to see manager Daniel Farke sacked after their poor run of form continued with a loss against West Brom on Friday evening.

Leeds suffered a 1-0 defeat at The Hawthorns after they had no response for Grady Diangana’s goal in the first half.

The Yorkshire club have won just one of their last five league games and have dropped down to fourth in the Championship standings.

Leeds trail league leaders Leicester City by 17 points while second-placed Ipswich Town have also built a nine-point gap between the Whites and the automatic promotion spots.

Farke was hired by Leeds in July and signed a four-year deal at Elland Road.

He was the first managerial appointment of the club’s new ownership, led by the 49ers Enterprises and new chairman Paraag Marathe.

After a slow start to the Championship season, Leeds’ form picked up in October and November but they have struggled to maintain that momentum in December winning just three of their seven games this month.

With the January transfer window quickly approaching, Leeds and their new owners will have a new opportunity to freshen up their squad for the second half of the 2023/24 season.

However, Leeds fans on social media want to see Farke sacked and a new manager appointed to lead their promotion push.

Many supporters suggested former Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper as a potential replacement after he was sacked by the Premier League outfit earlier this month.

Leeds are back in action on New Year’s Day when they host Birmingham City at Elland Road.
