Fernandes among 'shocking' Man United trio who are 'all over the place' - pundit
Alan Hutton has blasted the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Nemanja Matic for letting Man United down this season.
The former Scotland defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, slammed the United stars after Saturday’s 4-1 defeat to Watford.
The Red Devils announced on Sunday (21st November) Solskjaer had been relieved of his duties as manager.
Hutton, who was at Vicarage Road for BBC Radio 5 Live, admitted United were “shocking”.
He singled out three players who failed to live up to expectations.
Asked how bad United were in person, Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “Shocking. I mean, honestly, it’s probably the only word I can use to describe them.

“Everything kind of went wrong.
“You would think coming off the back of such a poor performance against Man City that they would want to go and show their manager they are fighting for the cause and doing their best for the team that.
“It just wasn’t that at all. They were making silly mistakes, individual mistakes, they kept on giving the ball away. These are international players.
“Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Matic, Fernandes sliced the ball up into the air for the penalty. They just looked all over the place.
“It was a team that was playing football without a plan. Ultimately, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer paid for that with his job.”
Only David de Gea played more minutes than Fernandes and Wan-Bissaka under Solskjaer this season.
The Portuguese midfielder has scored four goals and contributed three assists in 12 Premier League appearances so far.
