Breakthrough in talks: Arsenal agree personal terms with striker - report

Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Lyon hotshot Alexandre Lacazette, according to a French report.
French outlet Le 10 Sport claim that Lacazette has a ‘financial agreement’ in place with the Gunners as they prepare a second bid to clinch the signing of the 25-year-old.
It is said that Arsenal will table a new bid for the striker within days after Lyon revealed via their Twitter account that the London club had bid £29.5million for him last month.
According to the Le 10 Sport report, Lacazette is Arsene Wenger’s priority target as the 66-year-old looks to sign a new striker ahead of the new season.
The reported agreement of personal terms will be regarded as a major boost for Arsenal in their pursuit of the in-demand France international.

Lacazette, who has attracted interest across Europe, was in fine form last season for his current club, scoring 23 goals in his 44 appearances to help guide them to the Champions League.
The forward has only played for Lyon at senior level since his debut in 2010, but has been regularly linked with a move away from the seven-time league winners.
The Ligue 1 Player of the Year for 204-15 has made 10 appearances for his national side, but was not selected for the France Euro 2016 squad despite being part of the preliminary squad.
The Gunners have already missed out on the signing of Gonzalo Higuaín, and Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy rejected the north London club before penning a new deal with Leicester earlier on this summer.
