Rarely-seen player starts in five changes: Celtic expected XI v Kilmarnock


Celtic return to league action on Wednesday night when they take on Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership, as they attempt to end the season in style.

The Hoops have two league games left before the Scottish Cup Final – against Kilmarnock and Aberdeen – and it will be interesting to see the team selected by Brendan Rodgers for the game against Steve Clarke’s side.

It will also be interesting to see how Steve Clarke’s side approaches the game, as the Rugby Park team have slackened off considerably in recent weeks after they clinched their place in the top six of the league title.

Of course, technically the game is also meaningless for the Hoops, as they have already won the league title, and will only be playing for places in the Scottish Cup Final team to play Motherwell in just under a fortnight’s time.

Rodgers is expected to make five changes from the side which defeated Hearts on Sunday,
