Senior player axed in four changes to Rodgers 4-3-3: Celtic best possible XI v Aberdeen
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has a task on his hands as he attempts to lift his players following their dismal European exit in midweek at the hands of Zenit.
The Bhoys need to bounce back quickly from the loss in Russia as they travel to Pittodrie to take on Aberdeen in a match which may be pivotal for the rest of the season.
A win for the Hoops would take them 12 points clear of the Dons, whilst an Aberdeen win would cut the gap at the top to just six points.
There is also the added pressure of Rangers possibly cutting the gap to six points if they are able to defeat Hearts at Ibrox on Saturday.
Rodgers should make four changes from the side which fared so poorly against Zenit, as the Bhoys look to return to winning ways and try to kill off Aberdeen’s title challenge with a fourth consecutive league win at Pittodrie.
