Aston Villa’s biggest win of the campaign came on New Year’s Day when they absolutely hammered an in-form Bristol City side at Villa Park.
Bristol were third in the table before they were put to the sword by Bruce’s men with Scott Hogan and Snodgrass putting the West Midlands club two goals ahead before half-time.
Villa’s attack continue to find holes in Bristol City’s defence for the second period as Snodgrass doubled his personal tally before Birkir Bjarnason and Hourihane rounded off an emphatic win.
