Five Man United stars who could leave to make room for Benjamin Sesko
Manchester United are on the verge of signing Benjamin Sesko, but his arrival could spell the end at Old Trafford for five players.
Sesko will cost Man United over £70million and with manager Ruben Amorim still wanting to conduct transfer business, player sales seem inevitable.
Amorim has already signed Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo to support Sesko in attack, and the Slovenian will be expected to hit the ground running.
Man United start their league campaign with a tough home clash against Arsenal and there are five players who may have to make way for Sesko.
Jadon Sancho
Winger Jadon Sancho signed for Man United for £73m in 2021, but the former Manchester City academy product has not lived up to expectations.
Sent on loan to Chelsea last season, Sancho also failed to impress at Stamford Bridge meaning the Blues did not activate a clause to sign the 25-year-old.
In a Football Insider exclusive, Man United want to sell Sancho for the culture of the squad as well as financial reasons.
Sancho’s wage demands are a hurdle in any move, but Serie A side Juventus are closing in on a move.
Antony
Signed under Erik ten Hag from Ajax, Antony may reunite with the former Man United manager at Bayer Leverkusen due to his poor impact at Old Trafford.

The 25-year-old had a successful period on loan at Real Betis in the second half of the season which will have improved his prospects of a move.
Antony’s time at Man United included a period when he could not score a goal at home for over a year despite his positive start at the club.
The Brazilian became the first Man United player to score in their first three consecutive games for the club.
Alejandro Garnacho
Alejandro Garnacho has fallen out with manager Amorim, and despite his importance to the team last season, the 21-year-old looks set to leave.
Any sale will add significantly to the transfer budget, and in a Football Insider exclusive it was revealed Chelsea look to have beat Tottenham to the signing of Garnacho, with United poised to accept an offer.
Garnacho has been one of Man United’s brightest talents in recent seasons and his departure will be a blow to their attacking options.
Rasmus Hojlund
Rasmus Hojlund looks set to leave Man United when Sesko is officially confirmed as a Red Devil, as per a Football Insider exclusive.
Juventus could do another deal with Man United, as the Italian club are also interested in Hojlund alongside Sancho.
The 22-year-old has faced criticism for his poor two year spell at the club and will look to reignite his career elsewhere.

Joshua Zirkzee
Striker Joshua Zirkzee scored on his Premier League debut against Fulham last August, but the 24-year-old has only hit two goals for the club since.
Zirkzee’s future is uncertain due to that poor record and with Sesko’s arrival, the Dutchman would not be handed many starts.
If Hojlund departs, then Zirkzee may stay at the club to provide back-up, but it was exclusively revealed by Football Insider back in May that he would be part of an exodus of players.
