Antonio Conte is expected to make full use of his squad when they take on Wolves in the FA Cup fifth round on Saturday.
The Premier League leaders are set to make four changes as Conte looks to rest and rotate while hopefully maintaining enough quality to ease past Paul Lambert’s Championship side.
Michy Batshuayi could come in to give striker Diego Costa a rest as he is without a goal in four matches – his last came on January 22 when they beat Hull 2-0.
Batshuayi has made all of his five starts in cup matches this season – two in the FA Cup and three in the EFL Cup – where he’s returned an impressive four goals.
He’ll be ably assisted by Eden Hazard and Pedro in Chelsea’s attack.
Cesc Fabregas is likely to start in the Chelsea midfield after being left out of Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Burnley in the Premier League, with Nemanja Matic set to drop to the bench.
N’Golo Kante is expected to retain his place, along with Marcos Alonso and Victor Moses.
In defence, David Luiz looked like he was struggling in the 1-1 draw with Burnley and he’s likely to be rested in favour of Kurt Zouma.
Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta wll make up the three-man defence, and back-up goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is expected to be given some game-time in place of Thibaut Courtois.
John Terry remains out with a training-ground injury but some of Chelsea’s young talent could also be vying for first-team action.
Rubens Loftus-Cheek, Nathan Ake and Nathaniel Chalobah are all be expected to at least make the Chelsea bench at Molineux.
