Thomas Christiansen would secure his best transfer deal of the summer at Leeds if he fends off interest from four Championship clubs to sign Reading ace Jordan Obita.
The Sun claims Leeds’ Championship rivals Fulham, Middlesbrough, Hull and Birmingham are after the 23-year-old left-back, who starred in Reading’s 2016-17 campaign that saw them reach the play-off final.
It is said that there have been no talks over a new contract for the speed machine, leaving the path open for a move to a new club for Obita this summer.
Leeds have already completed nine new first-team signings this summer including permanent deals for Pontus Jansson and Hadi Sacko, with recruitment expected to continue.
Football Insider believes the signing of Obita would eclipse all of those if Christiansen was to add the former England Under-21 international to their side this summer.
