Fulham dealt double injury blow ahead of Bournemouth clash
Fulham are set to be without two key stars for their trip to the south coast as Marco Silva sets the timelines for their absences.
Fulham were humbled by Aston Villa on 28 September as they lost 3-1 which saw Raul Jimenez limp off with an early injury.
Silva was blasted for subbing on Adama Traore as a makeshift striker to cope with the Mexican’s early departure as the Cottagers fell to a disappointing defeat.
Outside of the negatives, Josh King impressed against Aston Villa as the youngster continues to flourish in his breakout season for the club.
However, following a dismal weekend for the west London side, the Portuguese manager has delivered more terrible news.

Rodrigo Muniz and Kenny Tete out for weeks
Football Insider tipped Harry Wilson to be the solution for Fulham’s striker crisis with both Jimenez and Muniz out of action.
It is now looking increasingly apparent that the Welshman will have to take up that role with Silva confirming via West London Sport on X (2 October) that the Brazilian will not be back until after the international break.
The 24-year-old hasn’t featured since a late cameo against Cambridge in the EFL Cup on 23 September, leaving the Portuguese manager with a major headache up top.
To add to the mounting problems, the ex-Watford boss also confirmed that, alongside Muniz’s hamstring injury, Kenny Tete will also be out with a knee problem for a similar duration of time.
Bournemouth to be delighted by Fulham injury struggles
The unique footballing advantage for the Cottagers has been their strength up front with the ability to rotate the Brazilian and the Mexican depending on form and fixtures.
This is now a luxury that has been taken away from Silva who will now have to scramble to find a solution to the striker black hole.
For hosts Bournemouth, Andoni Iraola will be elated at the injury news as they look to maintain their unbeaten run since their opening day defeat to Liverpool.

Tottenham January target Antoine Semenyo will be licking his lips at the prospect of running at Tete’s back-up Timothy Castagne who had a day to forget against the Villains.
The Ghanian is thriving under the Spanish manager and is already on four goals and two assists in seven league appearances for the Cherries.
The Vitality will be thrilled by the injury news as they seek to make Fulham’s troublesome times even worse.
