Fulham doing everything to agree deal for ‘fantastic’ player after confirmed news
Fulham lost momentum after a 3-1 battering from Aston Villa despite winning three games on the bounce in all competitions.
Ex-refs chief Keith Hackett exclusively told Football Insider that Fulham should have been awarded a penalty against Aston Villa on 28 September.
Marco Silva will feel aggrieved that decisions didn’t go their way as they dropped vital points against Unai Emery’s out-of-form side.
Yet, it wasn’t all bad with Gary Lineker and Micah Richards praising the performance of Josh King against Aston Villa.
The youngster is the future for the Cottagers as they turn their attention to pinning down other stars at the club.

Fulham ramp up Harry Wilson contract talks amid Leeds interest
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the Portuguese is focused on extending Harry Wilson‘s stay at Craven Cottage.
Silva is a huge fan of the Welshman and has described him as an “important” and “fantastic” player, showing he wants him to stay at the club (The Independent, 18 May).
Sources told Football Insider on 26 September that Leeds continue to closely monitor Wilson which has prompted Fulham to speed up contract talks.
Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, I explained: “I’m sure Wilson himself right now just wants to focus on playing regularly for Fulham and contributing for Marco Silva’s team.

“He’s been there for five years now as well. So he’s obviously settled in West London as well. So Fulham will be hoping they can convince the former Liverpool youngster to signing a contract extension as well.
“The more and more it drags on, it probably means the chances of Leeds landing them are fading away in that respect, because I’m sure Fulham will be doing everything they can to keep hold of them.
“If Wilson doesn’t decide a new contract at Fulham, he could explore his options as a free agent in summer. And I’m sure there’ll be more than just Leeds who will be looking at them.”
Kevin’s progress could determine Wilson’s future at Fulham
Kevin joined Fulham on transfer deadline day in the summer and has already caught the eye of fans and pundits alike.
The 22-year-old left Shakhtar Donetsk as a highly gifted left-winger with the Cottagers forking out a substantial fee to bring him to the Premier League.
At such a young age, the Brazilian will need a period of adjustment to not only the league but also a new country.
Yet, he has hit the ground running and will continue to be trusted more and more by Silva if he maintains his promising performance levels.
Fulham may prioritise Kevin over Wilson with the versatile Alex Iwobi moving to the right-hand side in the near future.
The Welshman could be threatened by the wonderkid and opt to leave as a free agent in the summer of 2026.
