Fulham are in advanced talks to sign Crystal Palace goalkeeper Alex McCarthy, Football Insider sources understand.
The Championship strugglers are confident of completing their third deadline day signing after reaching an agreement of a 93-day loan with the 26-year-old’s parent club.
McCarthy arrived at Fulham’s Motspur Park headquarters on Monday night to put the finishing touches to the move.
As revealed by Football Insider on Sunday night, Fulham have already announced the deadline day loan signings of Brighton midfield enforcer Rohan Ince and Sporting Lisbon attacking midfielder Zakaria Labyad.
Fulham can only recruit players on loan in the January window after being slapped with a transfer embargo by the Football League.
