Fulham star blowns fans away with what he did vs Crystal Palace: ‘Messi-level’, ‘Shining light’
Fulham winger Harry Wilson grabbed the headlines after his deft finish against Crystal Palace in a 2-1 defeat.
Eddie Nketiah was on the scoresheet as Crystal Palace beat Fulham at Craven Cottage on 7 December.
Adam Wharton stole the show for Crystal Palace on what was a frustrating afternoon for Marco Silva‘s side as they suffered back-to-back home defeats.
On what was a miserable day for the Cottagers, fans from all over the Premier League were left gobsmacked by Wilson’s incredible strike in the 38th minute.

Harry Wilson on target as Fulham’s one-saving grace against Crystal Palace
The Wales international continued his recent excellent form for the Cottagers with yet another goal, marking his third goal involvement in his last four matches since the November international break.
Wilson scored a delightful outside the foot curler in the 38th minute to beat Dean Henderson, pulling Fulham back into the game.
His strike had an xG of just 0.11, highlighting the low probability his skilful strike would make it past the England international in net.
On top of his wondrous hit, the Liverpool academy graduate completed 24 of his 28 passes with an 86 per cent accuracy rate as well as delivering one key pass.
The 28-year-old worked equally hard off the ball, winning three ground duels and racking up three clearances as the Cottagers tried to dig deep against the Eagles.
Although the result didn’t go in Fulham’s favour, fans from across the Premier League clubs were astonished by his incredible finish, with one Everton fan saying: “Everton should enquire about Harry Wilson in January.” whilst another onlooker added: “Harry Wilson’s left foot has been [Lionel] Messi-level since his Liverpool academy days.”
Wilson’s class yet another reminder that Fulham should extend his contract
Back in September, sources told Football Insider that Fulham are doing everything to extend Wilson’s stay at the club.
Over two months later and little headway has been made with the Wales international whose contract expires at the end of the season.
Silva is known to be a great admirer of the number eight, yet it remains baffling as to why he’s not been handed a new deal, especially as he approaches the prime footballing years.

The curler against Palace provides yet another reason why the Cottagers need to keep the 28-year-old at the club as he continues to exude class both on and off the pitch.
Moreover, as January approaches and little movement made on contract negotiations, Fulham will have to brace themselves for an array of offers for Wilson, who continues to grab the attention of other clubs in the Premier League.
