‘Fuming’ duo ‘pushing to leave’ Man United after latest fall-out – pundit

Jesse Lingard and Donny van de Beek are trying to leave Man United this month.

That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider amid the latest “mess” at Old Trafford.

On Tuesday (4 January) The Mirror reported as many as 11 players want to leave Man United after becoming “disillusioned” with life at the club.

It was also claimed some of the players are underwhelmed by the interim boss and are not impressed by his tactics.

This came after Man United were beaten 1-0 by Wolves on Tuesday (4 January) in a severe blow to their top-four hopes.

Kenny claims Van de Beek and Lingard are two players who are pushing to leave.

“Honestly, what a mess this is with Rangnick,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“It all comes down to how much these guys want to play football. If they aren’t getting it, they will be pushing to leave.

“It’s that simple, look at Van de Beek. He’s been wanting to play for months and month and he needs a new club.

“There are so many behind the scenes issues. Lingard is another one, he must be fuming. He was unbelievable last season.

“He will want that move, I can see plenty of teams queueing up for those players.

“Man United are in a right state and their rivals can take advantage of that.”

Man United lie seventh in the Premier League.

They are net in action against Aston Villa in the FA Cup on Monday (10 January).
