Gabbidon: This is why Arsenal 23-year-old doesn't play every week
By Matt Farr
Daniel Gabbidon has delivered a damning put down of Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on Twitter.
The former Premier League defender stated on his personal Twitter account on Monday afternoon that the 23-year-old does not play regularly for Arsenal because he can’t stay fit.
@JimWhite One of the reasons why the Ox doesn't play every week is because he can't… constantly picks up niggling injuries.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has been criticised for failing to fulfil his potential during his career at the north London club, despite showing signs of promise in recent weeks.
A series of niggling injuries have taken their toll on the midfielder’s stuttering progress, although he has stayed largely injury-free throughout the current campaign.
Last season however, Oxlade-Chamberlain faced three different spells on the sidelines, suffering from problems with his thigh and knee, which saw him miss as many as 20 matches.

But Gabbidon insists he cannot hope to become a regular fixture in the Arsenal first team unless he can prove his match fitness.
Even since his return from injury, the England international has failed to impress as a winger, but after being handed a role in the centre of midfield, he has thrived.
He has contributed six goals and eight assists from 38 appearances in all competitions this season.
But many Arsenal fans remain unconvinced as to Oxlade-Chamberlain’s value to the club, as uncertainty grows over his long term future.
The former Southampton youngster will have just one year left to run on his current Arsenal contract at the end of the season, although Arsene Wenger has admitted he is keen to see him commit to a new deal.
In other Arsenal news, the club have set to offer this senior trio fresh deals (not Sanchez or Ozil).
