Gabriel Jesus shares new injury update to Arsenal fans
Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus gave the fans an encouraging update as he continues his recovery from injury.
Jesus was ruled out for the remainder of the season back in January after suffering an ACL tear during Arsenal’s FA Cup defeat to Manchester United.
His absence was immediately felt, especially with Kai Havertz also sidelined, forcing Mikel Arteta to use Mikel Merino as an emergency option up front.
Jesus had endured a frustrating season even before the injury, struggling for consistency in front of goal. However, despite those criticisms, the lack of a recognised striker has been evident in recent months, particularly following Arsenal’s recent Champions League loss to PSG.
Although the Brazilian is not expected to return to action before the end of the campaign, he has shared a positive update with supporters, showing his commitment to recovery and hinting at a focused return next season.

Gabriel Jesus starts recovery process after ACL injury
The 28-year-old posted a picture on his Instagram story showing himself working on rehabilitation, after being ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Before the setback, he had made six Premier League starts and featured in 27 matches across all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing two assists.
However, his form had been questioned, with some Arsenal fans calling for the club to sell Jesus in order to fund a move for a new striker.
Following his injury, a sale became unrealistic, but pressure mounted on the club to bring in a forward due to their limited attacking depth.
Despite the outcry, the club opted not to strengthen in January – a decision that has arguably cost them, as the side fell short in the title race once again and are now facing a potential Champions League exit.
Arsenal open talks with Viktor Gyokeres amid striker search

With the summer window approaching, the Gunners have already begun laying the groundwork to bolster their attack.
Football Insider exclusively revealed that Arsenal have opened negotiations over a move for Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres.
The club’s new sporting director Andrea Berta is a strong admirer of the former Coventry City forward and is keen to secure his signature early.
Arsenal fans have been vocal in their support for a move for Gyokeres, though the club could face stiff competition from Manchester United, who are also said to be interested as part of a potential reunion with manager Ruben Amorim.
