Leeds’ recent run has seen them climb up to fourth in the Championship table and they kook set to be involved in the play-off picture at the end of the season.
They have an eight-point cushion ahead of seventh-placed Fulham and it would take a considerable collapse for them to finish outside the top six.
Monk has helped the Whites exceed all pre-season expectations and their fans are now dreaming of a return to the Premier League.
Meanwhile, upcoming opponents Reading are also in the play-off picture and are fifth in the league table.
Leeds managed to get the better of Jaap Stam’s sdie 2-0 in the previous meeting, but may find it more difficult away from Elland Road.
